Day Care and Extended Boarding

We are dedicated to providing personal attention to each dog to make them feel right at home. Each dog will have their own 5X10 kennel space with raised Kuranda beds and fresh water. https://kuranda.com/ We strongly feel that every dog has personal needs that must be met in order to be happy, healthy and stress free. So, there are no extra charges for walks, medication administration, special and multiple feedings and general loving care.

Obedience Training

Training is a lifelong process and with continuous, consistent efforts this will help to maintain a well balanced behavior in your dog. It is important to have goals and a plan of what you are wanting to do. We offer individualized training sessions starting with an evaluation so we can get to know you and your dog and see if we are a good fit for one other.

Puppy Development

The most critical stage for development of a puppy is between 7-14 weeks old. This is the prime socialization window where puppies learn how to accept their new world, learn what to expect and how to react to different environments. We offer a puppy development program where we work to instill a good foundation on your pup.

Upland Bird Dog Training

Upland bird dog training focuses on teaching dogs to find, point, and retrieve upland game birds like pheasants, chukars and quail. Training involves establishing a strong foundation in basic obedience, introducing scent work with birds, and building steady field manners. Typically our bird Dog Program consists of 3 months. Please note that all dogs learn at different paces. So it is tough to exactly determine how long the desired training will take. Throughout the training process we keep our owners informed of the progress and encourage them to take part.

Meet The Owners

John and AmyJo ( Enyart) Kucker retired from their careers in New Jersey and moved to AmyJo’s home town and thought about what to do in their next chapter of life. They knew they wanted to do something in the outdoors and with dogs. John was invited to be a part of an apprenticeship dog training program at the Smiths Kennels in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He was mentored by Ronnie Smith and his wife Susana Love. http://www.smithkennels.com/ While there, John was immersed in the daily operations of the kennels and in the Silent Command System, which is what we use to train our dogs and help teach to our clients. After he completed the program he was certified as a professional dog trainer. Having this type of education and knowledge he along with his wife AmyJo furthered their passion for nature and love of dogs. Together they decided what that next chapter of life would be for them. It was to open a dog boarding kennel and training facility. Now they both enjoy running the kennel and train hunting dogs as well as working with owners to help them with their dogs in everyday obedience.

Located in a country setting in Fulton County Ohio. You can have the peace of mind that while you are away your dog(s) are in the care of professionals. We will be sure your dog is cared for as if they are our own. We have four dogs and understand the special bond that you have with them.
